Permanent exhibition

In times in which the problems of agriculture are more and more being publicly discussed, it has become more important than ever to show the historical development. In many fields the foundations and problems of contemporary agricultural production can be traced back to profound changes throughout the 19th century that have altered agricultural production fundamentally – such as industrialization, urbanization or the transition from self-subsistence to market-orientated production. In the “Niederbayerisches Landwirtschaftsmuseum” we want to document the reasons and consequences of these developments.

With various installations we want to ensure the fact that a walk through the agricultural history from the 18th to the 20th century turns out to be an exciting and informative trip for you. Not only are there engines in motion, acoustic effects and scenic elements, but also a serious of films, models and agricultural engines the visitors themselves can launch.
