With striking presentations and countless precious objects from all parts of agricultural life the “Niederbayerisches Landwirtschaftsmuseum” (Lower Bavarian Agricultural Museum) in Regen brings to life the agricultural and social history of Lower Bavaria from the 18th to the 20th century at an exhibition space of 2,000 square metres. Young and older audiences have been impressed by the staging, the tractors and steam engines just as well as by the accompanying programmes and the guided tours.

We regard this place as a site dedicated to cultural encounters and discussions. It has always been our aim to create a vibrant museum in which all senses are appealed through various activities. The “Niederbayerisches Landwirtschaftsmuseum Regen” is a child-friendly place for experiences that offers knowledge and entertainment to all visitors in a pleasant atmosphere.
